Disgaea D2 gets a new trailer

Nippon Ichi released another trailer for their upcoming sequel, Disgaea D2. The last one heavily featured the game's protagonist, Laharl. This time, his "sidekicks", demon Etna and fallen angel Flonne get a chance to shine.

Nippon Ichi has released the second trailer for their upcoming SRPG sequel, Disgaea D2. The video shows off some anime cutscenes, gameplay, and character introductions.

A massive new batch of screenshots of Disgaea D2 have just been released courtesy of the folks over at Nippon Ichi Software's Japanese branch.

The screens show off battles, story sequences and menus all in the game's native Japanese. They also offer a glimpse of short-tempered hero Laharl as a girl, having undergone some sort of transformation.

Nippon Ichi's first true Disgaea sequel, Disgaea D2, has gotten its first set of screenshots.

D2 is a continuation of the first Disgaea and takes place a few years after the original's good ending. Laharl, Etna and Flonne, along with old and new characters will also be introduced in the story. At first the team considered remaking the first game, but decided to move ahead with an all new entry.
