Square Enix America reveals their own Final Fantasy 25th anniversary event set for PAX Prime

Not to be outdone, Square Enix America has revealed their own Final Fantasy 25th anniversary plans for the beginning of September.

Those looking to attend PAX Prime from August 31st though September 2nd – which coincidentally is the same time period Japan will be enjoying their own Final Fantasy event – will be able to partake in a special anniversary presentation at the show.

As previously reported, Square Enix will be hosting a special Lightning Saga stage at their upcoming anniversary event on September 1st.

Speaking in this week’s Famitsu, producer Yoshinori Kitase shed a little more light on the situation to come. If you recall back in January 2011 a leaked Square Enix release schedule made mention of a “Final Fantasy XIII Seasons” scheduled for later that year.

Nothing ever came of it and most people had assumed it was just an error or perhaps a rerelease of the first game. We now know that wasn’t the case – in fact it was the concept name for Final Fantasy XIII-2 when it was still in the early stages of the design process.

Square Enix USA has finally confirmed the last set of FFXIII-2 DLC set for release tomorrow afternoon.

Along with pricing, we have the official name for Snow's episode, as well as a short description for each piece of new content.

Thanks to PlayStation HK we now have the first trailer for Lightning’s Story: Requiem of the Goddess.

As previously revealed the content will be available tomorrow on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. Again, the pricing is as follows:

PlayStation Taiwan dates the next round of Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC

It seems previous rumors were somewhat correct. PlayStation.com's Taiwan site has revealed their pricing for Snow and Lightning's upcoming DLC and they're about what we expected.
