Square has released the Final Fantasy III DS US Boxart and more details leading up to it's US release.
First of all, the
wonderful Japanese Boxart is out of the picture for the classic FF affair - the game's logo on a plain white background. This might please the purists but it certainly doesn't look as interesting.
The OST of FFIII DS is out in Japan. It is a completely remastered, rearranged version of Nobuo Uematsu's original masterpiece soundtrack. The soundtrack is one disk featuring 61 tracks lasting just over 71 minutes. It also comes with a bonus DVD featuring interviews with those who worked on the title. The Soundtrack is now on the playlist of the
UFFSite Network Radio, so you'll be able to catch it on there to hear it if you're interested in importing it.
The game has already sold 750,000 copies in Japan, and is set to launch on November 14th in the US, following another Nintendo handheld remake, this one of
Final Fantasy V.
