First English Kingdom Hearts 3D screenshots and artwork

Square Enix has released the first English localized screenshots for Kingdom Hearts 3D.

Today's look focuses on battle scenes and the game's two types of creatures known as Dream Eaters.

Spirits and Nightmares are two different types of Dream Eaters. Spirits accompany Riku and Sora during their journey to protect them from the evil spirits, or Nightmares. Using the AR functionality of the 3DS, players can pet and feed the spirits, and play mini-games to improve the compatibility with the Spirits.

Kingdom Hearts 3D will be available in North America and July 31st and Europe on July 20th, 2012.
