Pokemon Black and White 2 dated for North America and Europe

The wait won't be too long for western fans looking to get their Pokemon fix this year.

Nintendo has officially confirmed the pair of DS sequels to launch on October 7th for North America and October 12th for Europe. At launch, a title known as Pokemon Dream Radar will also be available for download from the Nintendo 3DS eShop. By allowing users to capture their favorite Pokemon, including some rare types, they'll then be able to transfer them into Pokemon Black and White 2.

This news comes not long after the game saw its release in Japan last week, selling through a total of 1.6 million units in just a few short days.
