European Final Fantasy XIII official site teases "A Storm Gathers"

Square Enix has uploaded a new teaser over at the official Final Fantasy XIII website.

Headlined with the caption “A storm gathers,” we know that the main reveal for the next project in the Lightning Saga will be revealed on September 1st during the company’s 25th anniversary event in Japan.

The “Lightning Saga” that started with the release of FINAL FANTASY XIII, has achieved a cumulative shipment of over 9.6 million units; and in May 2012 FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 was brought to conclusion with the add-on content entitled “Lightning’s Story: Requiem of the Goddess.”

Final Fantasy XIII-3? Or something else entirely… only time will tell.
