Capcom Announces Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen

Capcom has used this year's Tokyo Game Show to announce new content for it's open-world RPG, Dragon's Dogma. It's an expansion pack entitled, "Dark Arisen". A brief teaser was shown, but Capcom is saving concrete details for a later date.

The move is not entirely surprising. DD is the first in Capcom's innitiative to create new franchises internally in Japan, while letting western teams rift on their established franchises like Resident Evil and Devil May Cry.

Dragon's Dogma originally released in May. Sales and reviews were mixed, but in a later financial call Capcom reaffirmed their commitment to the IP and seemed to be satisfied with the game's outcome.
