Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Wii U details surface in Famitsu

The Wii U version of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate isn't just a simple port. In fact it's getting the full-HD treatment and more.

Famitsu confirmed some new details about the title, which will launch on December 8th in Japan (Spring 2013 for the west). The game will support up to 1080p resolution and 5,1 LPCM sound. Given that MH3U was originally a 3DS title, the Wii U version will support the second screen features on the gamepad controller.

Online play will be included as well as the ability to play locally with three 3DS players at once. Save data will of course be swappable between both versions.
