PS3 Eternal Sonata receives official US release date

It seems like information on the PS3 remake of Eternal Sonata has been eternally quiet since it was originally announced, but earlier today, a recent Namco newsletter revealed at least one tid-bit of information; the official US release date for the game is set for October 21st.

The western release of this new version of the quirky RPG, which follows the dreams of real life composer Frédéric Chopin shortly before his death, been the subject of debate this year for a while now, as Namco previously claimed that this remake would not see release out of Japan at one point.

This gamer at least is glad they changed their minds. Now all we need is a European release date, and we're sorted...
