Bravely Default demo coming to America on January 2

Nintendo have confirmed that the upcoming Bravely Default will be getting a U.S. demo in early January.  Interestingly enough, like the European demo, it will not represent any events or quests present in the final game.

Nintendo also revealed Sleep Point system, allowing the player to obtain said points by leaving the 3DS in sleep mode for a cumulative eight hours.  The points can be used for various actions in battle, such as reviving allies or changing equipment.

Bravely Default will release in its entirety on February 7 in North America.  The game is already available in Europe and Japan.
