Some details about the tweaks made to Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX

During the Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX  section of Square Enix's E3 livestream, director Tai Yasue answered some questions detailing some of the changes and tweaks made to the games included in the remaster collection.

For Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, the online multiplayer function of the Mirage Arena has been removed, and the balance will be adjusted for a single player. Birth By Sleep should also have a largest graphical overhaul and redone textures, considering it was originally a PSP title. There will also be some additional difficulty and balance tweaks, specifically dealing with EXP Zero abilities.

Kingdom Hearts re:coded, a game that is only represented by cutscenes in 2.5 ReMIX, will have new story segments tying it more to previous games in the series.

Kingdom Hearts 2  will also receive updated textures, and 90 tracks of the original OST will be re-recorded with a live orchestra. There doesn't seem be any significant changes to the Final Mix gameplay content, but that will be new to English players to look forward to regardless.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX  launches in Japan on October 2nd, North America on December 2nd, and Europe on December 5th.
