Romancing SaGa 3 announced for smartphones and PlayStation Vita in Japan

Square Enix has announced that Romancing SaGa 3 will be remastered for iOS, Android, and PlayStation Vita in Japan. Originally released in 1995 for the Super Famicom, Romancing SaGa 3 is the second game in the series to get a mobile remaster. You can find the official website here.

Last year, Romancing SaGa 2 was also released for mobile phones and got a surprise first time English localization as well. There is currently no indication of an English version for Romancing SaGa 3.

Square Enix promises redone artwork for characters, background, and game menus while retaining the same gameplay style found in the original release. No other details were given at this time.
