Nintendo Wii RPG List

Alongside their many announcements, Nintendo revealed a list of upcoming Wii titles - many of which were RPGs. Being an RPG Site, we could hardly ignore, and have picked out the RPGs on the list.
Heading up the list is The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, sheduled to ship with the system at launch. Other big titles include Fire Emblem Wii, set to hit in February 2007 and Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors looking to wow Japanese gamers in the Spring of 2007.
Also on the list, there's Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers, which is bound to showcase Wii/DS connectivity.
Other games that populate the list:
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
Sword of Legendia
Legend of the River King
Harvest Moon Wii
Also, three as yet unnamed titles appeared - an RPG from Koei, creators of the Dynasty Warriors series, a new RPG from Konami and an all new Action-RPG from From Software.
Some of these are bound to show up at TGS - we'll be there, bringing you all the details as they appear.

Background:
The Nintendo Wii (Codenamed Revolution) was first introduced at E3 2005 as the successor to the Gamecube. The Wii launched on November 19, 2006 in the USA and followed in other territories. It was the first Nintendo Console launch without a Mario title.With its intuitive motion sensor controls, the Wii quickly became a worldwide phenomenon and emerged as the worldwide leader in home console sales. It is famed for featuring a mixture of traditional games and more accessible offerings for non-gamers.

ReplyOk the name is kind of funny, but isnt nintendo all about fun? anyway i think the Wii has a pretty good line up.... like zelda,mario galazy,red steel,harvest moon and lots more.... they games are gonna be cheaper, and theres gonna be way more release titles then any other cosole(due to cheap price of making them) so i think nintendo havent lost their touch, and plus i think they will make more RPG's as they go along i mean COME ON give nintendo some time!!!!! and plus ill get the ps3 nyhow so ill have the best of both worlds Lol,

Dragon quest 8 was abysmal, and this looks just as bad.

I concur. This really is shaping up well for us RPG fans.
