With The 3rd Birthday set to release this winter, it's about time we get to see what the game actually looks like.

Square-Enix has released a batch of new screenshots from the Japanese version, showcasing both gameplay as well as in-engine cutscene graphics. Even though The 3rd Birthday is technically a spin-off to the original Parasite Eve series, you can still see lead character Aya Brea as she takes on mutated creatures known as the Twisted that have invaded Manhattan.

Although it's still a ways off from release, you can see that the game is shaping up nicely. GamesCom is just around the corner, so hopefully we'll hear more then.
