TGS 06: Record-breaking year!

Official figures state that a huge total of 573 titles will be open to the public and trade at this year's TGS.

Ammongst the games, 18 will be for Sony's PS3, Nintendo's Wii will have a measely 5 games on display (with Nintendo themselves not attending the show) and Microsoft will have a total of 20 games for their 360 on show.

129 of the 573 games will belong to the action genre and simulation games will count at 49, but more interestingly for us - 76 will be RPGs. 52 games will be for Nintendo's DS, 33 for Sony's PSP, and PC and 'Mobile Platforms' will take up the remaining 252 spaces.
