Borderlands 3 One Punch Man Easter Egg: Where and How to fight the "One Punch" Miniboss and get the "One Pump Chump" Gun

True to the previous entries in the series, Borderlands 3 is absolutely filled with guns and pop-culture references - sometimes both at once! One of the earliest of these easter eggs that players can encounter is the One Punch Man reference, with the miniboss "One Punch" and his potential dropped Unique Legendary "One Pump Chump". Although players can find him fairly early into the game, he can be easy to miss - and there's even a small puzzle that you'll have to solve to get him to spawn, even if you know where he is. Here's all you'll need to know to find (and fight) him!

Where and How to Find the "One Punch" Miniboss and get the "One Pump Chump" Unique Legendary Gun

One Punch Miniboss and One Pump Chump Unique Legendary Location

First things first - players will have to have received access to the Lectra City zone on Promethea in order to find the miniboss, which means that you'll have to have progressed far enough in the story to receive the Sanctuary hub area, and have progressed far enough on Promethea to gain access to Lectra City. Once that's done, it's a simple matter of knowing where the puzzle actually is. Thankfully, finding his location isn't too difficult, owing to it being in the subway portion of the zone. Find a way underground, and make your way to the location shown in the gallery above!

Once you've cleared out the enemies surrounding the hallway in the pictures above, enter the alcove to find another hallway lined with a bunch of TVs leading to a large door and another section on the opposite end filled with switches. The objective here is to light up all of the TVs directly surrounding the door in order for the boss to enter the field. To do so, you'll have to solve a puzzle. While there are a few ways to do this, by far the quickest is to activate the switches (going from left to right, where #1 is the button furthest to the left and #5 being the lever furthest to the right) #1, #4, #5, #5 again, and finally #2. The boss should spawn from the door in the center of the TVs.

If you're lucky, the boss will drop the Unique Legendary on your first try, but it may take a while for the gun to spawn if you aren't so lucky. If the gun didn't spawn the first go around, you'll have to exit the game (going back to the main menu works), and then load back in to reset the miniboss. Repeat the above as many times as necessary for the gun (also pictured above) to spawn. Good luck out there, Vault Hunters!
