.hack//G.U. Last Recode is coming to Nintendo Switch on March 11, 2022

Bandai Namco has confirmed that .hack//G.U. Last Recode will come to Nintendo Switch on March 11, 2022 in the west (March 10 in Japan and Asia). This confirms the new port after a rating for the specific platform showed up on ESRB's website last August.

As a refresher, .hack//G.U. Last Recode is a compilation of the .hack//G.U. games released on the PlayStation 2 between 2006 and 2007. The series tells the story of Haseo in an in-universe MMORPG titled The World R:2. The games are story-driven and the player can enjoy the game without any online connection.

Bandai Namco initially released Last Recode for PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam in November 2017. While the compilation obviously includes all three volumes (Rebirth, Reminisce, and Redemption) from the PS2 era, it also added a new fourth volume titled Reconnection, bringing proper closure to the series story and making it equal to the original .hack//Infection-Quarantine tetralogy.
