Transfer your PS3 FFXIV data to PS4 before Patch 4.3 launches or lose it

In a new post today, Square Enix has announced that the ability to transfer your character data from the PlayStation 3 to the PlayStation 4 versions of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will be discontinued following the release of Patch 4.3, set to be out by the end of the month - only a "late May" date has been set. Update: We now know it will be out on May 22.

Upon release of Patch 4.3, the "Transfer Character Data" option will be removed entirely from the launcher, so if you have previously backed up your character data but have not yet transferred it from the PlayStation 3 to the PlayStation 4 version of the game, be sure to do that now before it's too late.

In another bit of news, they also shared that a PvP (Player vs. Player) team will be automatically disbanded if no members log in for more than 90 days, starting from when the team was initially formed. The timer will reset if one of the members logs in.
