Super Mario RPG - Forest Maze Solution

Forest mazes are nothing new to the RPG genre, and Super Mario RPG is no different. After witnessing the Geno doll coming to life and following him to the forest, you must make sure you go down the correct path - otherwise, you will be sent back to the beginning of the junction area. You can take two paths - one to the boss that is raining arrows down on Rose Town and a second that will lead you to a special room full of treasure chests!

Because the directions given (in the case of going to the special room) are from Mario’s point of view when he goes down the various paths, for ease of understanding, refer to this handy key to know which path to go down.

Path to Bowyer

The simple answer is to follow Geno. Even if you accidentally go the wrong way and end back at the beginning, he will also return to the beginning to let you follow him. The route that Geno takes that you will need to follow is: Right, Left, Straight, Right, Left, Left (2, 1, 1, 2, 1, 4)

Path to Treasure

To find the hidden treasure room in the Forest Maze, follow this path instead of Geno: Left, Left, Straight, Right (4, 3, 3, 4)

Going down the stump at the end will take you to a cave full of treasure chests!
