Nintendo Announces Fire Emblem 3D

As well as confirming details related to Monster Hunter at their big pre-Tokyo Game Show 3DS conference Nintendo Japan took some time out to announce that they'd be continuing one of their major RPG series' on the 3DS - Fire Emblem.

Details on the new Fire Emblem title for the 3DS are scant right now, but we do know from Nintendo that it'll take the form of a strategy RPG as is traditional for the series and will feature some form of two-player co-operative play.

It's due to launch in Japan sometime in the tentative period of Spring 2012. You can check out the first trailer, which features gameplay, below.
