Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance Set to Release in Spring 2012

Posted on September 15, 2011 by Erren Van Duine
Although not officially announced for the west yet, Kingdom Hearts 3D does have a release timeframe in its home territory. Revealed at this year's Tokyo Game Show, the game will launch sometime in Spring 2012 on Nintendo 3DS.

Square Enix also confirmed that the game will feature a cameo from popular Nintendo DS title The World Ends With You, which also has its characters designed by Kingdom Hearts boss Tetsuya Nomura. Neku from that game will feature in Kingdom Hearts 3D and interact with hero Sora.

We were able to get some hands-on time with the game itself at the show, so we'll have impressions for you shortly. In the meantime, you can catch up on KH3D screens and trailers over in the Media Vault.

Nintendo have a policy of never coinamicutmng with anyone with the public about their upcoming games. They thrive on a habit of secrecy and only reveal games when they are nearly ready to release to the public.Check out their release versus press coverage for the last 20 years and you will see how true this is.
