Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal anime gets key artwork and teaser trailer

Square Enix and Warner Bros. have released the key artwork and a teaser video for the upcoming Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal anime series. It is set to air in 2022 and will be available worldwide.

Originally announced last June, The Teardrop Crystal looks to be an adaptation of the Jumi storyline found in Legend of Mana. While the teaser trailer itself doesn't show any animation, it does show the anime designs for many characters, including Shiloh, Elazul, Pearl, Esmerelda, Sandra, Florina, and Diana. You can check out the new Opening Movie for the re-release, made by the same studios, to get an idea of what the anime series may look like.

The teaser can be found below, alongside the key staff and three main character introductions. The official website is here.

Square Enix re-released Legend of Mana last year for consoles, PC, and later mobile devices. In his review, Scott described the re-release as a solid upgrade, but with some missed opportunities.
