Final Fantasy VII Remake surpasses 7 million units sold
Square Enix has announced that sales of Final Fantasy VII Remake, including both the original PlayStation 4 release and subsequent Intergrade PlayStation 5 & PC release, have sold more than 7 million units worldwide.
Sales were noted to be at 5 million units in August 2020, which was before the PS5 and PC versions had been released.
In case you somehow missed it, the next entry into the Remake project — Final Fantasy VII Rebirth — is set to release on February 29 for PlayStation 5. In addition to a new trailer, we have a lot of new details and screenshots regarding characters, combat, minigames, chocobos, and more. We also know that this entry will end at the Forgotten Capital portion of the original Final Fantasy VII.
Seven's the magic number.
