The Legend of Legacy HD Remastered announced for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC, set to release in Early 2024
NIS America has announced that The Legend of Legacy HD Remastered will launch in Early 2024 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam).
The Legend of Legacy was originally released for Nintendo 3DS in 2015, developed by Cattle Call & Furyu and originally published in the West by Atlus USA. It features a key staff including game designer Kyoji Koizumi (SaGa series) and composer Masashi Hamauzu (Final Fantasy XIII). It borrows several conventions of Square Enix's SaGa series, including similarly designed combat and progression systems.
For those who have played The Alliance Alive, note that The Legend of Legacy is its predecessor, so it shares a similar aesthetic and gameplay. However, The Legend of Legacy places far less emphasis on characters/story and much more on combat & exploration. If you wish, feel free to read my review of the 3DS version from 2015.
