Steam leak reveals Dragon's Dogma 2 release date
Although Capcom pledged to reveal Dragon's Dogma 2's release date later today during a presentation, it appears that a premature update to the game's Steam page has revealed the game's projected release date ahead of time - March 22, 2024.
In addition to the release date, Capcom also uploaded the game's system requirements for PC; on the CPU side of things, players will want at least an Intel i5 10600 or a Ryzen 5 3600, with the recommended requirements calling for an Intel i7 10700 or a Ryzen 5 3600x. 16GB of RAM is supported by both the minimum and recommended requirements, while for the GPU players will want a GTX 1070 or an RX 5500XT with at least 8GB of VRAM; this will be good for 1080p30 per Capcom's recommendation. For 2060i30 players will need either an RX 6700 or an RTX 2080. For Raytracing, players will want at least an RTX 2080 Ti or an RX 6800.
While pre-orders are not yet live, the Steam page has also revealed that both a Standard Edition and a Deluxe Edition will be available, with pre-order bonueses for both - the Deluxe Edition will come with the Superior Weapons Quartet equipment pack as well as a Ring of Assurance; Standard Edition pre-orders come with just the Superior Weapons Quartet for pre-orders.
The Dragon's Dogma II Deluxe Edition will come with an Explorer's Camping Kit, the Dragon's Domga Music & Sound Collection, 1500 Rift Crystals, and a variety of usable items in-game - including a Harpysnae Smoke Beacon, a Heartfelt Pendant, an Ambivalent Rift Incense, a Makeshift Gaol Key, an Art of Metamorphosis and a Wakestone.
Dragon's Dogma 2 will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on March 22, 2024.
