Atlus ends digital distribution of the original Shin Megami Tensei V and all its DLC on June 13 delisting them from the Nintendo eShop
Atlus has announced that they will be delisting the original standard and digital deluxe versions of Shin Megami Tensei V and all of the DLC that released for it on June 13. This title initially released on November 11, 2021 and its updated release, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, is launching on June 14, 2024.
The following entries on the Nintendo eShop will be delisted on June 13:
- Shin Megami Tensei V
- Shin Megami Tensei V Digital Deluxe Edition
- Paid DLC Bundle
- Paid DLC: Mitama Dance of Wealth
- Paid DLC: Mitama Dance of EXP
- Paid DLC: Mitama Dance of Miracles
- Paid DLC: A Goddess in Training
- Paid DLC: The Rage of a Queen
- Paid DLC: The Doctor's Last Wish
- Paid DLC: Return of the True Demon
- Free DLC: Safety Difficulty
The 'Japanese Voices' Free DLC was only released in the overseas version of Shin Megami Tensei V and will presumably be delisted, as well.
People who have already purchased Shin Megami Tensei V and any of its DLC digitally can continue to re-download them, even after they've been delisted.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance includes the entire base Shin Megami Tensei V game, four previously paid DLCs from the original version (A Goddess in Training, The Rage of a Queen, The Doctor's Last Wish, & Return of the True Demon), a brand-new 'Canon of Vengeance' full campaign, and a plethora of enhancements, adjustments, and quality-of-life tweaks.
Additionally, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance expands the Demi-fiend's presence beyond just a high-level superboss fight; players will be able to add the Demi-fiend into their party, too.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance comes out on June 14 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam).
The original Shin Megami Tensei V Digital Standard, Digital Deluxe, and all associated DLC will be delisted from the Nintendo eShop on June 13.
