Final Fantasy VIII now out on Steam

Square Enix announced today that Final Fantasy VIII is now out on Steam for $11.99/€12.99/£9.99. This version includes achievements and a 'Magic Booster' cheat that will give the player a small set of spells from the onset of the game. Also included is the Chocobo World minigame, which was not included in the localized original release.

In case you were curious, Magic Booster gives the following spells:

Cure, Cura, Curaga, Fire, Fira, Blizzard, Blizzara, Thunder, Thundara, Sleep, Blind, Silence, Berserk, Bio, Esuna, Aero, Confuse, Break, Zombie
