Puzzle Quest 2 Announced, First Screens

Puzzle Quest is set to return with refined puzzle and RPG hybrid gameplay in 2010 for Xbox Live Arcade and Nintendo DS.

The original Puzzle Quest was a huge hit, spawning a space-based sequel and now this, a true continuation of the original and more popular title.

Puzzle Quest 2 is set to add to the experience of the original with all new enemies, spells, weapons and shields, making each twist of the gems on the board all the more important.

The announcement comes off the back of the release of Square Enix's Gyromancer, a Puzzle/RPG hybrid undoubtedly inspired by Puzzle Quest. The game is slated to arrive on both platforms in Spring 2010.
