Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana's PS4 version and The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III are coming to Japan in 2017

Falcom's shareholder meeting unveiled the first details on Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana on the PlayStation 4. It'll be released on May 25, 2017 in Japan and carry a host of significant visual enhancements compared to its PlayStation Vita counterpart. Models look much sharper, environments are more vivid, and the inclusion of anti-aliasing giving it a much cleaner look.

Plus, the PS4 version of Ys VIII will also include additional scenarios and several parts of Dana's storyline that were unfortunately cut in the Vita version of the game.

Falcom has also revealed the first tidbits and screenshots of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III. It is coming exclusively to the PlayStation 4 and is scheduled to release in fall 2017 for Japan. 

The game starts in Septian Calendar 1206 and the civil war in Erebonia has ended. Rean Schwarzer, the Ashen Chevalier, takes up his blade once more as a new turning point for the Erebonia arc in the Trails storyline unfolds!

Environments and character models look significantly sharper and more detailed from its predecessors, while the battle system gets an overhaul to its UI with individual buttons now mapped to actions!
