Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds will be out November 7

Guerilla Games announced over on the Official PlayStation Blog that Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds, the first expansion update for the game, will be released on November 7 for the PlayStation 4.

Set in the icy territories of the north, this will be a significant update to the base game. Here's a quick rundown of the content:

Beyond the northern mountains, the borderlands of the Banuk tribe challenge all who dare enter to survive the extremes. But now this frozen wilderness harbors a new threat, and for Aloy, a new mystery – one she’s determined to solve.

The Frozen Wilds contains additional content for Horizon Zero Dawn, including new storylines, characters and experiences in a beautiful but unforgiving new area.

· Uncover a compelling new story.
· Explore a brand new area
· Face new machines.
· To use this download, you must own Horizon Zero Dawn (sold separately).
· Enhanced for PS4™ Pro with dynamic 4K gaming, improved graphics and environments, and High Dynamic Range visuals*.

PlayStation Plus members can pre-order the DLC right now for $15, which is 25% off its normal $20 price tag. Those who do so will also get a Banuk Aloy avatar for free.
