Dissidia 012 Duodecim Final Fantasy US Preorder Incentives Announced

Square Enix USA has just announced the pre-order incentives for Dissidia 012 [duodecim] Final Fantasy in North America - confirming that certain character costumes will be exclusive to certain retailers in the US.
Gamers who preorder at GameStop will net themselves Cloud's Kingdom Hearts costume - the getup that Cloud wears with the big red cloak and gauntlet partially inspired by Vincent. They'll get the costume via a download code which will be given to them when they preorder from the company, which is the largest videogame specialist retailer in the US.
Meanwhile, Amazon customers will get what Square Enix is calling the "Enforcer" costume for Tifa. Based on a Yoshitaka Amano illustration, it kits Tifa out in red and black. This costume is available in Europe as part of the special edition of the game.

I attended the dgmniiht release at my local Gamestop. It was pretty uneventful. Just a long line. The funniest part was when 12:00am hit we could hear screaming and yelling from the K-Mart parking lot which is about a 1/4 mile from the Gamestop. It sounded like a block party.Like you I had a bad experience with Gamestop and I will not be pre-ordering from Gamestop ever again. I pre-purchased my copy of Black Ops, paid in full, months ago. While I was in line they asked for everyone who had a stamped receipt. I was like what are you talking about? Apparently you had to show up before 9pm on launch day to get your receipt stamped. I didn't know that and I was not informed of that when I pre-purchased the game. Long story short they made everyone without a stamped receipt wait until all the stamped people got their game. I was sooooo pissed off. Gamestop has lost me as a customer for good. From now on it is Best Buy only for me. Best Buy even buys used games in my area.

ReplyAll of these will eventually be available for normal DLC purchases sooner or later. These costumes are incentives for buying the game and other games. But eventually people will download these off the PSN
Replyam sure squall will be at bestbuy for sure! >.< noting for bestbuy yet so i assume squall KH is at bestbuy pre order and lightning aya brea DLC will come with the third birthday day am sure this is how it's gonna be XD.
