Elden Ring Nightreign: how to unlock the new characters and start The Forsaken Hollows DLC
Today, Elden Ring Nightreign's The Forsaken Hollows DLC has launched worldwide for consoles and Steam. If you own the Digital Deluxe Edition or bought the DLC today for your base game release, this guide will cover how to unlock and access The Forsaken Hollows DLC in Elden Ring Nightreign.
How to unlock the new Nightfarers in Elden Ring Nightreign The Forsaken Hollows DLC
The two new Nightfarers in Elden Ring Nightreign The Forsaken Hollows are the Undertaker and Scholar. You need to defeat Tricephalos. Once you've done this, head to Roundtable Hold and talk to the Iron Menial who has a message from the Small Jar Merchant.
How to unlock the Balancers in the Forsaken Hollows DLC in Elden Ring Nightreign
To unlock the new Balancers boss in The Forsaken Hollows DLC in Elden Ring Nightreign, you need to have defeated at least two bosses in the main game including Tricephalos. In addition to this, you need both Scholar and Undertaker playable (from above). Once you have done this, you can go to the chapel behind the Small Jar Merchant. This will let you take on the Shifting Earth event "The Great Hollows" and the boss expedition for the Balancers.
FromSoftware and Bandai Namco have confirmed that a post-launch update will have all newly added DLC content appearing in Deep of Night even when doing base game expeditions. This will require you to be matched with three players who own the DLC.
How to activate the Forsaken Hollows DLC in Elden Ring Nightreign

On PS5 and PS4, you need to manually claim the DLC for free from the PlayStation Store if you own the Deluxe Edition content.
