Tales of Berseria Remastered is now available worldwide for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. As with recent Tales of series remasters, Tales of Berseria Remastered includes the original game DLC and features new DLC for the remaster. Bandai Namco has confirmed on the official website that this remaster features over 70 items of DLC that launched alongside the original release, but that some content might not be included. This guide will cover all the Tales of Berseria Remastered DLC, how to access the DLC, changing costumes, BGM songs, and much more.

What DLC is not included in Tales of Berseria Remastered?

So far, the IdolMaster costumes are missing from the Tales of Berseria DLC included in Remastered.

New paid DLC in Tales of Berseria Remastered

Beyond the original game DLC, Tales of Berseria Remastered has the Deluxe Edition DLC, the pre-order bonus, and multiple sets of level-up packs sold digitally. These packs will be sold for $1.99 for 5 levels and $2.99 for 10 levels.

How to access DLC in Tales of Berseria Remastered

When you boot up Tales of Berseria Remastered, unlike with Graces f Remastered, it does not tell you it has detected any DLC barring the pre-order bonus or the Deluxe Edition contents. There's no indication of the original game's DLC as well. If you own the Deluxe Edition, it does ask you whether you want to boot up the Digital Soundtrack & Artbook though on Steam and it downloads this as a separate app on PS5 and Switch. Beyond that, you will need to go into the item tab of the game's menu and then scroll to the rightmost column (or view them in the "New" tab) for the EXTRA tab. This has all 74 sets of DLC listed. Note that I had 74 sets of DLC for owning the Digital Deluxe Edition. If you only own the standard edition without the pre-order bonus, you will not see a few of these.

From here, you need to manually claim the ones you want for your current save file. I did not see an Unlock All option as of this writing.

How to change costumes in Tales of Berseria Remastered

To change costumes, when you have control of a character, press the touchpad on PS5, the guide button, the - button on Switch and then go into the Fashion tab. From here, you can select a few attachments, the hair, and the costume for each character. You have a specific amount of slots for accessories and cost for each of them here. As an example, I could equip two accessories before the cost ran out in the screenshot example shown for Velvet.

How to change battle music in Tales of Berseria Remastered?

If you own the Battle BGM Pack, you need to go into the game's System menu and then select options. From here, the bottom of the list lets you use default or custom settings for music. The Battle Theme Customization menu lets you customize what music will play during battle. The Battle Theme Customization menu also lets you adjust play mode (Play in Order or Random Play) using the right trigger button.

You need to manually select the songs you want or "Select All" (pushing in the right stick) here. Once you have done this, you can have whatever selected music play during battles.

Tales of Berseria Remastered Digital Artbook and Soundtrack contents

Tales of Berseria Remastered's Digital Artbook and Soundtrack app features an excerpt from the "Tales of Berseria Official Art Book" published in 2016. The digital Tales of Berseria Remastered soundtrack contains a total of 96 tracks from the "Tales of Berseria Original Soundtrack," which was released in 2023. Both of these are only accessible in their standalone app on all platforms. On Steam and PS5, you can export the music to a USB as well.
