Onimusha: Way of the Sword DLC Guide – Premium Deluxe Edition, Pre-Order Bonus, Upgrading, and More
Onimusha: Way of the Sword launches on September 4 worldwide for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (Steam, Epic). As with other Capcom releases, there are multiple game editions digitally and physically for all platfortms. Onimusha: Way of the Sword has the same digital editions across regions, but the EU and NA physical editions are different. I've included both below:

The Onimusha: Way of the Sword Deluxe Edition includes Onimusha: Way of the Sword (Base Game) and the Onimusha: WotS - Deluxe Kit. This Deluxe Kit includes the following items that can be used to change Miyamoto Musashi's appearance, and charms that he can equip:

The Onimusha: Way of the Sword Premium Deluxe Edition includes the base game and the Premium Deluxe Kit. The Premium Deluxe Kit includes the Deluxe Kit and the Premium Kit with the following items that can be used to change Miyamoto Musashi's appearance, and charms that he can equip:

Onimusha: Way of the Sword pre-order bonus
There are two different pre-order bonuses. The Deluxe and Premium Deluxe pre-order bonus is a set containing the 'Lion Dog' and 'White Monkey' charms, and the 'Sealed Curse' and 'White Lion' sword appearances. The base game pre-order bonus is a set containing a 'Lion Dog' charm and 'Sealed Curse' sword appearance. The bonus applies to those who pre-order or acquire the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2 digital versions before 11:59PM EDT / 8:59PM PDT on September 24. The bonus applies to those who pre-order the Steam or Epic Games digital versions before 7:59PM EDT / 4:59PM PDT on September 25.
How to upgrade from the Onimusha: Way of the Sword standard edition to Deluxe or Premium Deluxe editions
The wording so far implies the Deluxe Kit and Premium Kit will be sold later, but the price and release schedule is not confirmed yet. I will update this when more information is available.
Where to claim Onimusha: Way of the Sword DLC in-game
So far, Capcom has revealed the following about the DLC and where to claim items:
- Equipping charms will strengthen Miyamoto Musashi's abilities
- Charms can be changed on the Equipment screen accessible in-game
- Sword appearances are cosmetic items that change the appearance of Miyamoto Musashi. They do not alter his performance in battle.
- You can change sword appearances by selecting Change Appearance from the Spirit Mirror menu in-game.
- Spirit Mirrors and the Equipment screen will become unlocked separately as the game progresses.
