Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Notable Deeds and Boons of Salvation - How to spend Karma Shards and All Boons Available
The page highlights Notable Deeds, Karma Shards, and all of the Boons of Salvation available in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave.
Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave - What are Notable Deeds and Karma Shards
Notable Deeds are kind of like the 'Achievements' found in Fire Emblem Engage, but instead of Bond Fragments, you are rewarded with Karma Shards.
Notable Deeds progress globally in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, meaning they are not tied to any particular Flame Lord. You'll be able to complete these in-game achivements across many routes, or even replays of routes.
Notable Deeds are tasks such as Obtain ### pieces of ore, Searched spots ## times, see ## of Supports, and much more. Due to the sheer number of Notable Deeds available in the game, this page will not list all of them. You can see these at any time at the Pale Raven Perch.
As stated before, completing Notable Deeds will reward you with Karma Shards. These can be used for two purposes in the game:
- Unlocking Boons of Salvation
- Merging Casualty for recruited characters in Part III.
The main purpose of Karma Shards is to unlock Boons of Salvation, which are basically like boosters or enhancements for your game. These bonuses are enhancements like 'Earn more EXP from battle.' or 'Lowers the prices of blacksmith services.' A list of all Boons available can be found in the list below. Like the Notable Deeds themselves, these bonuses are global, and they will take effect no matter what route you are on. Note that, once a Boon is unlocked, you can choose to toggle it On or Off.
Note that you can unlock all available Boons of Salvation (and thus all gameplay bonuses available) well before you've completed all Notable Deeds, so don't feel obligated to get every Notable Deed available. Once you've unlocked all Boons, the rest of the Karma shards obtained can only be used to Merge Causality for characters.
Using Karma Shards to Merge Causality
Merging Causality is the second purpose of Karma Shards, and it is only relevant once you reach Part III of the game. At this point in the game, the characters from your Part I and Part II paths are woven together into one combined Part III playthrough.
If you have recruited the same character in multiple routes, the game will ask you which version of the character you want to use in Part III. You have the additional option to 'merge' stats of multiple versions using Karma Shards, which allows the higher stats, abilities, and combat arts to take precedence in the merged character. This could theoretically create extremely powerful units, if you are merging characters with very different stat growths.
Let me emphasize that the stats of merged characters are NOT added together. Simply the highest stat of the group will be taken as the final stat of the merged unit. So if you had two versions of Noctua, one with high Strength and another with high Magic, the combined version would have both high Strength and high Magic. If you simply had two similar Noctuas both with high Strength and low Magic, the combined version would still have high Strength and low Magic, gaining maybe just a small bump in stats.

The number of asterisks (*) next to a boon indicates how many Part I Paths need to be completed before it can be unlocked.
Note: Some of these asterisk requirements are estimates. Please let me know if any need to be adjusted.
