Monster Hunter World Iceborne's Fifth and Final Free Title Update adds Elder Dragon Fatalis on October 1

Capcom has announced the fifth and final free title update to Monster Hunter World Iceborne, set to launch on October 1 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. This update adds the elder dragon Fatalis, who originally appeared in the very first Monster Hunter game. Fatalis is a legendary black dragon said to have destroyed a kingdom in a single night, and it has taken roost in the ruins Castle Schrade.

Fatalis will be available after clearing the Iceborne storyline and Alatreon investigation. When taking on Fatalis there will be several environmental weapons at your disposal to help in the battle, such as the Dragonator, cannons, and ballistae. This new update also brings in a new character, known as the General, to lead the operation against Fatalis. Of course, felling Fatalis can lead to a new Hunter Armor set and Palico outfit.

The title update will also add Arch-tempered Velkhana as a limited-time event quest, as well as a Clutch Claw Boost, allowing players to wound monsters easier. There are also new melding options, new layered armor, new pendants, and other updates.

A new seasonal event is also coming from October 16 to November 5 - the Fun Fright Fest - which is Halloween inspired and you'll be able to see spooky outfits and decorations around the Lunar Terrace. A detailed overview of all the updates can be found on the official website.
