NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139... Extra Content Trailer reveals free NieR Automata DLC
Square Enix has published a new trailer that shows the extra content added in NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139... This trailer was first shown at a Japanese NieR Replicant live stream held on the same day.
One of the biggest reveals from this trailer is the 4 YoRHa DLC set based on NieR: Automata. This free DLC will add weapons and costumes that can literally transform the main characters to YoRHa members. It will also feature voice actors from both the Japanese and English versions of Automata. This newer release of Replicant will include the option to play music from Automata on-disc.
The original NieR Replicant and Gestalt had the 15 Nightmares mode available as DLC. This difficult dungeon will be included on-disc in this new release. This is where you will be able to play as an older version of the protagonist. Playing through this dungeon will let you gradually unlock weapons, as well as Kabuki and Samurai costumes.
Last but definitely not least, Square Enix will also add the Mermaid story in this game. Originally published as a short novel when the original Replicant and Gestalt were released, it will tell the story of a mailman who meets a girl in a wrecked ship. This story will also feature a boss battle against a massively powerful Shade.
