Dying Light 2: Stay Human delayed until February 4

Dying Light 2: Stay Human has been delayed until February 4. This marks the latest in a series of delays for the post-apocalyptic action role-playing game from developer Techland.

The new release date was announced via a tweet containing an extensive message from Techland CEO Paweł Marchewka. In the message, Marchewska emphasizes that production on Dying Light 2: Stay Human is progressing smoothly, going as far as to label the game "complete." Playtesting it, however, has led to the decision to push its launch back a couple more months for the purposes of polish and optimization.

With a dense map that is allegedly four times the size of the original Dying Light's and a parkour animation seemingly for every conceivable occasion, this sequel has the air of something that stands a chance at being not only bigger but better than its predecessor.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human releases on February 4 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).
