New Nintendo DS Features

Wireless gaming is quickly becoming popular with handheld consoles. With WiFi, we don't have to be at home to play with strangers online anymore. Now, much like the PSP, an actual internet browser will be available on the Nintendo DS, allowing it to act more as a PalmPilot than just a Gameboy. With other new features, such as VoIP, TV tuner, and memory expansion pack, it's a wonder what the limitations of the DS are, especially with the improvements of the DS Lite.

The internet browsing software will be provided by Opera, and it will be available by a cartridge costing $38. On July 24th, this cartridge will be released in Japan. Like a PalmPilot, DS users can write in text with a stylus. Websites can be viewed on both top and bottom screens, as a continuation from one to the next.
