Upcoming FFXIV Live Letter "looks into the next 10 years" on February 18

The era of Zodiark and Hydaelyn is over. After December's Endwalker expansion, Final Fantasy XIV is ready to kick off a new saga with its Letter from the Producer Live Part LXVIII stream hosted by director and producer Naoki Yoshida.

The stream begins on February 18 at 6:00 pm PST, or February 19 at 2:00 GMT/13:00 AEDT. As usual, you can tune in via Square Enix's YouTube, Twitch, or Niconico channels. And for those of you with lingering Endwalker-related questions for Yoshida, submissions are open now on the official forums. The team will answer some queries in the second part of the broadcast.

The show details don't mention everything planned for the broadcast, but there's a segment listed beside the Q&A as "Newfound Futures: The Next 10 Years of FFXIV," so Yoshida is already keeping good on his promise of another decade of FFXIV. He's mentioned the long-term plan for the MMO on a few occasions now since the surge in popularity, but most recently, Yoshida kicked off 2022 announcing the team is looking forward to "10 more years of Final Fantasy XIV."

Even without a detailed schedule in the Live Letter date reveal, there's still plenty that we know is on the horizon for FFXIV. Version 6.1, which has no official date yet, should see the launch of Endwalker's New Game Plus and the introduction of Ishgard housing. It's also pinned as the update for the next Ultimate raid, which features the Dragonsong War, and the game's Stardew Valley-like mode, Island Sanctuary.
