Gotham Knights cancels its PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions

Warner Bros. Games unveiled that Gotham Knights will only be coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam, Epic) on October 25. It was originally slated to release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, but they have announced that Gotham Knights will no longer be coming to them. Warner Bros. Games has not given a specific reason as to why they have cancelled the releases on those platforms.

The announcement came at the end of a new lengthy 13-minute gameplay trailer featuring Nightwing and Red Hood. This trailer showcased an updated look on Gotham Knights, featuring movement options such as Nightwing's Flying Trapeze glider and Red Hood's Mystical Leap that allows him to hop on self-made platforms mid-air. Players also get a better look at the flow of Gotham Knights' gameplay loop with how story missions are selected from the Belfry hideout, along with how the equipment system affects character stats and appearances.

Infiltration and combat sequences are also prevalent throughout the new Gotham Knights gameplay footage, giving players an idea of how Nightwing and Red Hood operate.

Addtionally, Warner Bros. Games released a quick trailer showing off the 233 Kustom Batcycle Skin for those who pre-order Gotham Knights.
