Final Fantasy Type-0 almost nails a perfect Famitsu Score

Square Enix's latest PSP exclusive title Final Fantasy Type-0 has scored big in massive Japanese magazine Famitsu, missing only one point away from gaining a perfect score from them.

Famitsu has four different people play each game and each score it out of 10 making for an overall score of 40. Type-0 managed to get three 10s and one 9, making for an overall score of 39/40.

That's the same score awarded to Final Fantasy XIII before that launched. Type-0 was originally named Agito XIII, but was renamed after the connection to Final Fantasy XIII became small at best. If you want to see what the game's like, we posted 11 minutes of gameplay footage last week.

The game sadly hasn't been announced for the West at all - but don't fear! The PSP is region-free and Play Asia have the Asian and Japanese versions of the game available for preorder. In addition to that, two versions of the soundtrack by Crisis Core composer Takeharu Ishimoto are also available for Preorder.

If you can't get enough Type-0 you can find more ScreenshotsArtwork and Videos of Type-0 over in the Media Vault. Check out the new video below.
