The Tarnishing of Juxtia launches on July 26 for PC

Publisher Mastiff and developer Actual Nerds have announced that The Tarnishing of Juxtia will launch for PC (Steam) on July 26. It will be priced at $24.99, with a 10% discount to $22.49 until August 2.

A new trailer for the 'Souls-like 2D action RPG' shows off some of the game's bosses, locations, and gameplay. The footage and description can be found below, via Mastiff.

The Tarnishing of Juxtia combines atmospheric pixel art and a hauntingly beautiful score with challenging 2D skirmishes. Playing as the final creation of the Goddess Juxtia – and choosing from a staggering variety of weapons, armor sets and abilities – you’re tasked with defeating the Shadow God Drelium of Crescentpeak … a mysterious, alien realm filled with strange machinery and occult magic.
Last but not least, the game’s “Energy Rush” system allows the fiercest warriors to get a super-charged boost of stamina and mana after landing consecutive attacks, increasing the odds of a successful run!
