Marvel's Midnight Suns delayed to "later this fiscal year" for its PS5, Xbox Series, and PC releases, while the PS4, Xbox One, and Switch versions will launch later beyond that timeframe

Firaxis Games and 2K have pushed back the release date of Marvel's Midnight Suns again. It was originally scheduled to launch on October 7, 2022 and now, it is set to release "later this fiscal year" on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions of the title without a new specific release date. Take-Two's fiscal year ends in March 2023, so Marvel's Midnight Suns should be releasing on those platforms before next March. The PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch releases of Marvel's Midnight Suns will follow at a later date beyond that fiscal year timeframe.

This is not the first time the release of Marvel's Midnight Suns has been delayed. In November 2021, 2K and Firaxis Games initially pushed back its release to the second half of 2022 and that release date was supposed to have been October 7. As of the moment, it remains unclear on what exact day Marvel's Midnight Suns will finally release and now it has a staggered release between its releases on current generation and last generation platforms. In the meantime, we went hands-on with Marvel's Midnight Suns a few months ago and shared our initial impressions.

We have an important update to share regarding our launch date for Marvel's Midnight Suns. After discussion with the team, we've made the decision to move back the launch timing of Marvel's Midnight Suns to ensure we are delivering the best possible experience for our fans. We will launch later this fiscal year on Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5, with the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch versions following a later date.

We know fans are looking forward to playing Marvel's Midnight Suns and we will use this extra time to make sure we are delivering the best possible experience for everyone. Marvel's Midnight Suns is easily the biggest game we've ever made and we're incredibly appreciate of all the support players have shared with us throughout the years.
