Nintendo Wii: Europe Lineup Announced

As I'm sure all the Wii-nthusiasts (see what I did there? Huh? Huh?) who love to grace this site will already know, Nintendo's next-gen 'Wii' launches in Europe on the 8th December, for a whole penny less than £180. But not until today did any of us - except maybe the very (very) lucky and priviliged of us - know much about exactly what we could get our mitts on at launch, or just after.

Nintendo's catalogue of first-party games doesn't go much further than the much-hyped Zelda: Twilight Princess, excepting of course the compulsory Wii Sports, and Wii Play. However, Nintendo plan to release more first-party games during the life of the console, such as Super smash Bros. Brawl, among others - which means that the rest of the launch line-up for the console consists of third-party games, from developers such as EA (Madden, Need for Speed Carbon), Activision (Call of Duty 3, Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam), and others. But I'm sure you're all here for the complete lineup, so its as follows:

All games released on launch day, unless otherwise noted.

Wii Sports, The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Wii Play

Call Of Duty 3, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam
