Competition: Win Star Trek's latest RPG-adjacent gaming adventure - and the Lego to match
Every now and then, the RPG Site team stumbles across a game that isn't technically a role-playing title but that nevertheless grabs our attention with RPG-esque mechanics and systems we think our readers will love.
A recent surprise in that wheelhouse was a PC survival strategy title from the world of Star Trek, which ticked all the boxes and scratched the kind of itches that typically only RPGs can touch.
Star Trek Voyager: Across the Unknown is part visual novel, part choose your own adventure, part base builder, part space exploration simulator, part roguelike, and even features RPG-style experience points and character progression systems. Oh, and, those characters? It's possible to lose them, depending on the choices you make in your adventure.
We already wrote in-depth about why we feel the game is worth playing, anyway - and today, we now present a chance to win a copy of the game. We've got the following to give away:
- Grand: The LEGO Star Trek USS Entertprise NCC 1701-D and a copy of Star Trek Voyager: Across the Unknown Deluxe Edition on the platform of your choice
- 2x Runner Ups: A copy of Star Trek Voyager: Across the Unknown Deluxe Edition on the platform of your choice
Having built that Lego set myself, I have to say that it is excellent - and is the perfect companion to the game.
All you have to do to enter is head on over to the Competition Form Entry and answer the following question there: What classic video game RPG character would you drop into a Star Trek crew, and why?
We'll update this page with some of the best picks when we've picked a winner. Good Luck, Live Long, and Prosper!
