Final Fantasy XIV 6.4 previews Aetherfont dungeon, new Main Scenario quests; New preview stream coming on May 12th
The next update for Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker is coming in a few weeks, and Square Enix released new screenshots from Patch 6.4, The Dark Throne. The new shots show off material from the update, including the new dungeon, called the Aetherfont, as well as cutscenes from the Main Scenario quest and other new features.
Additionally, Square Enix announced the schedule for the next Letter from the Producer Live broadcast. Hosted by Producer Naoki Yoshida and Global Community Producer Toshio Murouchi, the 77th broadcast will take place on May 12, 2023 at 4:00 AM PDT/11:00 AM UTC/ 8:00 PM Japan time. The broadcast will air on YouTube and Twitch. The broadcast will dig deeper into the Patch 6.4 preview, as well as debut the planned trailer for the update.
The new screenshots also came with some teaser text to hint at what's to come for players. Check it out below.

Main Scenario Quest updates

Additional Duty Support
The Duty Support system has been expanded to include five dungeons from Stormblood. In crimson sunsets do heroes rise, and the Warrior of Light must join with Lyse, Hien, Gosetsu, and their Scion allies to bring peace to Ala Mhigo and Doma once more!
* The duties newly added to the Duty Support system are as follows: The Sirensong Sea, Bardam's Mettle, Doma Castle, Castrum Abania, and Ala Mhigo. Further updates will be progressively implemented in future patches.
Final Fantasy XIV is available on PC, PS4, and PS5. The next Letter from the Producer Live stream is scheduled for May 12, 2023.
