Square Enix confirms a new Dragon Quest Monsters game is in development for Nintendo Switch

Square Enix has announced that a Dragon Quest Monsters title is in development for Nintendo Switch.

The confirmation comes from a new video celebrating the 25th anniversary for Dragon Quest Monsters, as the original title released in 1998 for Game Boy Color. A teaser site has been opened.

No other information about the game is available at this time, but a short teaser video commemorating the anniversary can be found below.
