Kingdom Hearts 3D sells 213K first week in Japan

After having gone on sale last week in Japan, Kingdom Hearts 3D has taken top spot in the weekly Media Create charts.

The game managed to move 213,579 units from March 29th through April 1st not including the KH Edition 3DS bundles. While seemingly decent, those numbers put KH3D's debut well below the last "mainline" entry, Birth by Sleep. The PSP entry managed to move 456,453 when it went on sale a couple of years ago.

Hopefully KH3D has some legs... we'll see what happens in the coming weeks.
