Nexon and Neople unveil single-player action RPG The First Berserker: Khazan based on Dungeon and Fighter universe
Publisher Nexon and developer Neople shared a World Premiere trailer for their upcoming single-player action RPG, The First Berserker: Khazan. This game is set in the Dungeon and Fighter (DnF) universe. It is releasing for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam), though no release date has been shared.
Players take control of exiled general Khazan, who has been falsely accused of treason. He embarks on a quest of vengeance filled with hack and slash combat encounters and RPG progression systems - including character skills, weapons, armor, and perks.
The First Berserker: Khazan originally had a prototype called Project BBQ and the shift into becoming a Soulslike action RPG was announced in March 2022 according to Gematsu.

The Pell Los Empire has been saved – at a cost. After the Great General Khazan and Archmage Ozma defeat the Berserk Dragon Hismar and the Dragon Legion, players will step into the shoes of Khazan as he is falsely accused of treason and exiled beyond the empire. In this hardcore action RPG, thrilling combat takes center stage with every step of Khazan’s quest for vengeance against those who orchestrated his downfall, marked by intense, aggressive and ever-changing styles of battle.
To survive the relentless onslaught of antagonistic forces, players must master the art of combat, upgrade character skills and combine weapons and armor - each with unique perks.
